Hamma Time

Among my many hobbies is photography I’ve only recently started posting some of my pictures online. I am not a professional by any means but I do enjoy doing it and have been doing it in one form or another since I was a kid on a 35mm SLR. Currently I am taking my photos on a Nikkon D40x. It’s a great camera with allot of options, I wanted to go for the D80 but it just wasn’t in the budget.

The picture on the right was taken on the beach (go figure! :p ) in Plum Island, MA. That one was modified a bit in Photoshop. Check out my flickr album here, there will be plenty more added as time goes on.

Hamma Photography, Random Thoughts

Well I decided to finally get back into the blogosphere after being out of it since January 2006. I also decided to pick up my own domain as you can see HammaTime.net. I was bumping around the internets and popped on to some great domain registration deals over at GoDaddy.com and could not resist finally getting my own domain I mean you can’t really beat $15 for a domain name anyway. Plus that chick they have on those commercials is fucking hot.. I’d buy a domain from her any day of the week. Allot of my friends have their MySpace pages all nice and pretty (read shitty) and all their friends commenting away but fuck that, I hate the cesspool that is myspace. There is nothing there that appeals to me in the least, so here I sit blogging away on a page hopefully someone will read!

Wordpress has become a great application since I last used it, it’s very customizable and the amount of themes and plugins out there are just insane. If you are thinking about getting into blogging and have a host Wordpress is certainly the way to go.
