Hamma Time

Well once again I sit here at home and it’s snowing like crazy outside. It’s not even winter yet and we’ve already broken records for snowfall this year, I think we have over a foot on the ground right now and we are still adding to it. I attempted to go to work today but it took me an hour to move 2 exits so there was no way I was going to finish that commute then spend another 3 hours getting back home tonight. So I decided to take advantage of my day and take some pictures.

We have a ton of birds in this area and my mom feeds them so that adds even more to the mix. I spent some time this morning going from window to window taking pictures of the various birds. Check out some of them on my flickr album here.

Today I was doing my usual lunch time news whoring when I stumbled upon a teaser trailer to Duke Nukem Forever. Perhaps the most famed video game to never be released DNF has been the butt of Internet jokes for 10 years now. It’s a pretty good trailer, Graphics seem ok but honestly does it matter what the graphics look like? Just seeing this thing released will be a feat in itself. But my question is what in the world would you even do if it does someday get released? Will you buy it just because it’s DNF and an instant collectors item? Or maybe you are hoping there is an updated strip club in the game so you can get your jollies off a slightly less pixilated pair of tits.

Within minutes of it’s release poor Shack News who got the first exclusive trailer link was brought to it’s knee’s by Digg. At last check the site was still getting just hammered (pun intended).

Personally the thing that struck me the most when I started thinking is how long ago this game was announced, I was about to graduate high school myself.. the writer on ShackNews was in the 7th grade. It was a brisk day in 1997 when first news of DNF came to the world. In 2001 a trailer was released at E3 that never came to be, since then it’s been redone in a new engine among other things. The developer still joke’s that the game will be released "When it’s done" and that we should be seeing more stuff. I’m not holding my breath.. but I am kicking ass and chewing bubble gum.

  So I am sitting here reviewing my meager Blog Statistics when I come upon an interesting yet very well known fact.

The posts that get the most views are related to women, or porn.

I like to think I lead a semi interesting life and make a good post now and then but those posts rarely get looked at. It’s the posts with the good ‘ol fashioned tits and ass that get the action (Hey, Can’t really blame you..) so it looks like its time to start doing some hot chick reviews.

Hamma Random Thoughts

Snow. A 4 letter word which is worse than any other word on this earth and I hate it more than I hate religion. Yesterday we had quite a doozy up here in the North East as everyone went to work in the morning thinking they’d get home early. When it turned out alot of people ended up spending their dinner hour behind the wheel of their cars doing 2mph. Personally I hit the road at about 2:00pm for my normally 30-35 minute commute. It took me no less than 30 minutes to get to the highway from my parking space alone. When all was said and done it took me 2h 45m to get home last night. I ended up arriving home when I usually do.

And it never ceases to amaze me the assholes who STILL cut you off on the highway thinking somehow they are going to get home earlier by getting in your lane. When they see that isn’t working they cut someone else off heading to another lane. I’ve got news for those idiots-  I can’t stop when you cut me off.. I will hit you. That includes the pedestrians that just walk out in the road.

 I need to move somewhere warm…
